And I managed to have a really pretty dream with pretty scenery and stuff. XD

Somehow...somewhere I checked into this really nice hotel and went to my hotel room, which was just "go up a flight of really long stairs and turn left".  I had two windows, one which overlooked an empty neighborhood with a bunch of unused apartment buildings.  The other window looked out toward the hotel restaurant.  So basically my windows look out to two different places at the same time.  I decided to go down to the restaurant just to take a look at things.  On my way down, I met up with a bunch of people that...I hardly ever see.

There was one of my first students.  She was having lunch there, and she said that her teacher, Vivian, was going to be there as well.  Vivian was someone I knew from back in middle school.  Then, when she went off to college, I've never seen her since.  We greeted each other, and what stood out to me was that she ignored her student (my former student) entirely.  Then I turned and came face to face with Therese, who was with a bunch of other people I recognize as her old friends from middle/high school.

Just as I was turning to go, someone gave a cry, and I looked to my right to see that we were on the same level as the clouds, and the white puffy clouds were slowly turning gray.  It was very unrealistic but extremely pretty to watch, seeing some of the clouds leaking grey into their appearance while others were still white.

Then it started to rain, and I looked over to a far off cliff that looked like Two Lovers' Point and saw that the clouds over the cliff were also some-white/some-grey, but above the clouds, there was this huge rainbow with shimmering, swirling, and...in technicolor.

After watching it for a while, I decided to go back to my room to get my camera.  I climbed the flight of stairs, and turned left before thinking "wait..."  In front of me, where there was a hallway to the hotel rooms, there was now a bank office of sorts.  I turned right, and there was a gate, like in the airport, large windows, people waiting in uncomfortable seats, and everything.

I turned to the bank again and decided to walk down that hallway and soon came upon a foodcourt.  Thinking "wtf?" at this point, I doubled back and went back down the stairs, and coming up the stairs was gopherguts1218 !  I was like, "omghai!"  We talked a bit, and apparently he was just roaming around taking pictures.  Then he had to leave, and I asked him if he took a picture of the rainbow earlier.  He said he did; so I asked him if he could send it to me.  He told me that he'd text me.  I blinked.

Then I woke up...and it was still night.
